Week in the life of Carrie, volume 3
Rules and day one
Day 2
Today was a much better day than yesterday. Thank God, right?

I obviously didn't get to the muffins quickly enough to photograph them. They were a hit.

I chose these shoes to wear today. They didn't rub my existing blisters, but created some of their own. That polish? Named "Riby Slippers." :D

I did menu planning and made a grocery list for the upcoming week.

We went to Gander Mountain, a sporting goods store. The boys got hiking boots for their upcoming trip to Mount Rushmore. While there, I wandered over to the candles, because that's usually the safest place for me. There was this man there, sniffing all of them in turn, and he picked up one that had the name "country store." He sniffed it, made a face and said in a West Texas accent, "That doesn't smell like any country store I've ever been in. That smells like a big ol' bucket of butt!"
I kid you not. Rednecks. Gotta love 'em.

Aaron went in a tent and laid down for a minute.

We had lunch downtown, at Acapulco. Good food. I had shrimp quesadillas.

This is a new wine bar that's opening downtown. I'm rather excited.

The Santa Fe building. That sign is lit up at night; it's really pretty.

Went to church. It was good. :)

The church's 24 hour prayer house. Called the Elijah project.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

That might be my mantra for the next week! HOW HILARIOUS!
And your day was SO much more exciting than mine was. I am very tempted to start Day 6 tomorrow and forget about today.
