I choose death. I'm too full for cake.

I just had THE most fabulous meal.

A couple (or four) of glasses of luscious red wine, followed by a lobster bisque, lamb chops, smashed potatoes, asparagus, fresh tomato, creamed corn & sugar snap peas, followed by heavenly coffee and a creme brulee.

As my granny used to say:  "Stick a fork in me; I'm done."

And I only had to listen to electrical contractors, lobbyists and professional politicians posture.

Could have been worse, y'know?

Creme brulee? *is dead* Not kidding, that is my favorite dessert in the entire world! :)

Yup. You could've had what I did for dinner. :)

I could have even managed to smile through all the rubbish for a meal like that *drools*

Oh that sounds wonderful! I would've been fine with the wine, coffee and dessert. That's not to say I wouldn't have eaten all of it!

While I couldn't do the lobster thing (they're the spiders of the sea, dontcha know?) the rest sounds absolutely fabulous! Totally worth sitting through all sorts of posturing. ;)
