Shut up, Crime!

First of all, despite my training as a serious actress (*snort*) and the fact that I adore costume drama and Hamlet and all things Broadway, I want to go see this movie pretty badly.

♣ Even though he plays ginormous goobers on screens big and small, there's something about Rainn Wilson that you just really have to respect as a comic actor. He is fearless. He will, quite literally, do anything for a laugh. As a girl who spent a good part of a play with her face in a bowl of Cornflakes, I feel like I can relate. Oh, and Nathan Fillion is playing "The Holy Avenger." I'm in.

♣ For a musical audition, last night went as well as could possibly be expected. I hit the notes (all eight of mine - Rose said that there might even have been nine! Surprise!), got all the steps, read the words. And was called back for last night, even before the director knew I was mostly unavailable tonight. Even though I'm fully aware of my musical limitations, I could act the crap out of that role. Maybe there could be a Kathy/Lena/Singin' in the Rain arrangement. Or, you know, not. :)

♣ Nolan gets home tonight. I could not be happier. I've missed that big lug. Also, quite selfishly, I need a night of uninterrupted sleep like you read about.

♣ The dresses are coming along. Not as quickly as I'd like, mostly because I get in a hurry and have to go back and fix things. But they're precious cute and going, which is the important thing. If all goes well, I'll have them done by the end of Spring Break.

♣ I'm evidently in a magazine? Jason called yesterday to say that the PPHM Museum/Theatre exhibit thing got a multiple page spread in Style Magazine, (Not to be confused with InStyle - man, I would DIE) and that I'm featured in a few of the photographs. I'm holding my breath until I see them; I wasn't all that pleased with myself in the other shots. Still, being in a magazine is super cool.

And I think that's all of today's news. Have a good Tuesday, y'all.
