Deep in the Heart

Prettiful pictures under the cut!

The climbing tree...

Boys (& Molly) in the distance...

Lots of blue sky...

The pond...  I do not fish, or swim in there.  The boys do, though.

A little animal husbandry, for ya!

I got fun news today...  I'm going to be an aunt AGAIN!  YAY!  Congratulations, Emily!

Okay... my Texas does not look like your Texas...

Well, where I live doesn't really look like this, either. This is our acreage in Childress, TX.

It's so beautiful!

Oh, pretty. That's definitely not how I picture Texas. Congratulations on becoming an aunt again!

Just to clarify, after reading my comment, I didn't mean to imply that Texas is not pretty. I think it is. I just never imagine it to be so green, I guess. I envision more of a Cowboy/Spaghetti Western-type landscape. ;)

No offense taken. To be honest, there are those landscapes, too (El Paso, and my home (Amarillo) when we're in a drought). Texas is a BIG place and there's all sorts of climates; the coast off the gulf of Mexico is humid and tropical, east Texas has LOTS of Trees, the hill country (around Austin) has rolling hills and lush greenery, and the Panhandle is arid and cooler than the rest of the state. /end 7th grade history lesson.
