I feel the need to share my 'beep' story, that wasn't really a beep.
When I first got my computer, not long after I'd downloaded all this cool stuff on it, every night at 8 o'clock, it would howl. YES, howl. Like a wolf. I srsly thought something was living in my computer. IT IS NOT SUPPOSED TO HOWL AT ME WHEN I'M HOME ALONE >.> Anyways, it took me weeks to figure out that if my Mac-friendly bittorrent downloader was on at 8 o'clock at night, it howled for some reason. So, no matter if I'm downloading something or not, I always turn it off so that my computer does not talk to me.
I mean, I've already got enough people that talk to me that no one else can see >.>
