Cute Kid Story

(Carrie makes a lovely Quiche Lorraine for brunch today; bakes it in one of those stoneware pie pans that holds heat really, really well.  She calls the family to the table, they gather 'round, bless the food, then because Carrie is a concerned wife and mother, she says)

Carrie.  Be careful boys, it's really hot.

Nolan.  Just like the girl who made it. (winks)

Carrie. (giggles)

Ethan.  (feeling my arm)  No, she's just kinda warm.
