October's contest. Should anyone be interested.
I love Halloween. LOVE. Even though the politically correct part of me should say that my favorite holiday is Jesus' birthday, or the day set aside solely to give thanks, I'm here to tell you that my very favorite holiday is Halloween. Costumes? Candy? Dressing up? Going to parties? Punch that steams served from a cauldron? What's not to love?
So in the spirit of all hallow's eve, the winners of this month's contest will have to write a story about the holiday. In whatever fashion you like, with whatever pairings you see fit. My favorites are the following:
Bones: Booth/Brennan
NCIS: Tony/Ziva
HP: Draco/Ginny, Pansy/Ron
Firefly: River/Jayne, Malcolm/Inara
Supernatural: (Brother fic is fine...but no slash, please)
True Blood: Eric/Sookie, Hoyt/Jessica
Castle: Castle/Beckett
Twilight: Jasper/Alice, Emmett/Rosalie
Friday Night Lights: Any ship. I'm not picky.
Vampire Diaries: Damon/Elena
But those are just a jumping off point. Other pairings and even original fiction are good, too. I just enjoy a well written story.
First and second place will receive one of these cute Vera Bradley covered mugs for all your wintertime hot beverages:

Blue Rhapsody
And if there's a third place, they'll get something cool, too.
