We decorated a gingerbread house yesterday afternoon.
The finished product was pretty good.
Then we proceeded to take pictures for the Christmas card. Oh, the hilarity. (Not really.)
We tend to be a dramatic bunch.
And silly.
And out of 75 pictures, there isn't ONE that's usable for the Christmas card. Fuzzy, dark and red eyes everywhere. I still have 24 that aren't developed from my Nikon, so we'll see. Cross your fingers. You may have to dig out last year's picture and imagine us all a year older.

I hope there's something in the 24 you're able to use though. :)

But things which used to ruin pictures are not really problems anymore.

The gingerbread house looks so good! You even have a chimney! Our house last year was pretty much icing because it kept falling apart. :( Is there a trick to keeping it together?

I decided not to go the Martha Stewart route this year.
And HEY! How are you, stranger?

I'm sorry I've been so... absent recently! Life's getting to be one crazy ride, simply because of the amount of stuff I have to get done. I was just thinking yesterday about how well you must manage your time - you seem to be even more busy than I am and yet you still have time to keep in touch and post and write. Any pointers?
p.s. Merry Christmas!

And you just say, "For the next hour, I'm going to write." Sometimes I set a timer. *shrugs*
