So staying up until 2 am and then getting up at 7 does not agree with my body like it did when I was 25... But I did go to the cast party last night and had a fabulous time, and then got up to finish cleaning and getting ready for AJ's birthday party (I'll post pics of that on his actual birthday. A good time was had by all.) I even managed to sneak in a nap this afternoon - though I had very strange, not particularly restful dreams so I woke up frazzled.

I'm running out the door to the theatre, but I thought I'd post finished pics of the set, now complete with set dressing and everything. I think they did an exceptional job.

I encourage you to click on them to see them larger... the details are really cool.

The kitchen/Living room combo

Rest of the living room/ "boys' room" - there's an imaginary wall that separates the two.

The tavern sign. My fictional family lives over the tavern, thus the name of the show. Clever.

The hallway

Alright, I'm off to see about getting some caffeine so I can make it through the evening without yawning.

Big love to all!

Oh, wow! The set is so cool! It looks like a real house. :) I tend to have the strangest dreams when I'm napping. I think our bodies know it's not real sleep, so they play funny games with our heads. :/

I dreamed that Harrison Ford was my boyfriend.

And not the hot Han Solo Harrison Ford, the old Indiana Jones one. :P

That is a really cool set. Wow.

I hear you on the kids' birthday parties. I dread those every year, and so far I've only had one child to do. In a couple of months my middle one turns 6 and he wants a party for the first time. *sigh* Then there's the 2 year old up and coming still ...

Good luck and have fun tonight.

And I was always told that we need less sleep as we get older... someone fibbed!

The set pics look great! Looking forward to seeing the ones of AJ's party :)

They DID lie. I slept 12 hours straight night before last!

Yay! It looks great! I'm glad you had fun at the party even if it did mean getting less sleep!

I hope you enjoyed that coffee. :D

I hope you had a fab day. I hate functioning on less sleep too. It's one of the most bha parts of being a mom IMHO.

Wow--really awesome set. Looks like a very professional production, which must be a delight to experience (well, except for all the inherent headaches of live theater on stage). But no doubt there'll be some delightful prop malfunction stories coming up on your lj.... (ooh, bad slitherhither for mentioning that possibility! I'm sure they'll happen to someone else, and be minor and funny, that's what I meant to say!)

At one point during a blackout, I'm supposed to take off a bottle of Pepto Bismol that's sitting on the dining table.

Because I was doing the blind man searches for Pepto with my hands out in front of me, I knocked it off the table and onto the floor, and had to scoot off stage without it.

I hate it when that kind of stuff gets a laugh. :P
