The best day

I just had the best day yesterday and had to share...  I got a new Rick Springfield CD...  well, not new, but you get the idea.  Made me all nostalgic for 1983.  I had lunch with my sweet husband at my FAVORITE RESTAURANT...  BL Bistro...  tortellini...  mmmmmm.  I got a hair cut...  no more split ends...  yay!  I made dinner for my family and had a GREAT rehearsal.  I'm not supposed to be off book til Tues, and last night for Act 2 I only called for 'line' a couple of times.  I'm unstoppable.  Oh, yeah, I am.  

Nolan bought a computer today...  ordered it, actually, and this time next week I should be able to manage everything effectively from my very nice, new home PC!  Right now I'm at the shop answering the phone, earning the money that they pay me every week.  And, of course, using their computer.  Duh.  It's here, I'm addicted.  No brainer, there.

The in-laws are watching the monsters tonight and we're going to see Lyle Lovett at the new performing arts center that cost the taxpayers a lung and a kidney.   I got a super sexy outfit...  NKH will not be able to STAND it.  Oh.  We are going with his sister, too.  So it won't be the best DATE in the world, but it should still be a good time.  We're going to my 2nd favorite restaurant tonite.  OHMS.  I'm a spoiled brat.  

I can live with that.  

Speaking of brats...  I took all of Nolan's shirts that I bought him back and pocketed the cash.  $95.  I should probably buy dinner tonight, huh?

Mom?  Remember how you told me Pink was not a good color on me?  EVERY costume that I wear in this show is pink.  And I think you were right - 

*lightning crashes precariously close to the author--thunder ensues*

Ahem.  Yes, you were right...  I don't look that great in pink.  Unavoidable, however.
