Cute Kid Story, Opinion of Other Mothers, Icon Meme

Last Friday, when I was driving the kids to school, I mentioned that we'd be going to a Valentine's dance. I was not prepared for Ethan's reply.

Ethan: Ohhhh! There'll be girls. And cupcakes. And girls.

*sigh*

I'm really unsure as to which he was more excited about. I am most certainly NOT ready for middle school.

In other news, we've made a list of things that the boys are responsible for, with consequences for when the individual items aren't met. Does this seem fair, in your opinion? Other mothers of children on the f-list, I'd appreciate you weighing in.
