On a separate note, I got the Christmas card I sent you back in the mail yesterday. *headdesk* I have the right address on it now, so hopefully it'll get there on time!
I just about fell out of my chair when they started singing to Toto.
They sort of remind me of the U of M Friars. My Cousin Becky was in their female couterpart group, the Harmonettes. They often had joint concerts.
Here's a reworked version of "Surfer Girl"
And "Uptown Girl"... Apparently, North Face Jackets were in last year.
But they do sing the unadulterated versions of things upon occasion. "Build Me Up Buttercup" is one of their standard pieces...
And also, Ben E. King's "Stand By Me"
Interestingly enough, The Harmonettes did this one too... But Becky hasn't been able to get her hands on the recording from the Shamrockapella concert.
