We found some people to take it!  The people that bought are house are going to give it to their SIL. Not only do we not have to move the demonic thing, (it weighs a ton, honestly) but I never have to look at it again.  They have to do it all!  MUahaha!

SUCKERS!

I do have a large piece of furniture that's weirding me out a little to take its place.  Nolan bought me a china hutch at an antique store 2 years ago for Christmas, and we didn't have anywhere to put it, (it's a monster) so it's lived in the garage since.  When cleaning it out today and unpacking the china cabinet dishes and so forth, I found a receipt from what I'm assuming is England.  The amounts are in pounds, and the address (I guess) is Chestnut, Herts.    Just strange that a piece of furniture from Hertfordshire could have found its way to my dining room in Texas.

Yay for getting rid of the demonic piano!

The hutch could have been sold at an estate sale or something. That might explain how it made it from England to Texas. *crosses fingers* That sounds plausible, right?

You almost took my advice... selling the piano with the house :D

And cool about the hutch, I think [livejournal.com profile] airmidm is probably right.

But its still neat.

LOL make that a woohoo for globalization.

As of now, all my furniture is from the US and Canada. Since most of it doesn't fit in my current place, I have either been giving stuff away on freecycle or selling them online. Since I have pretty much bought furniture in every city that I have lived in, a whole lot of Londoners are now using stuff from Atlanta, Chicago, NYC and Montreal. :)

Finally unloaded the piano, eh? Nice work.

I'd have taken it, but I already have a piano. Granted, it's not demonic (I won't speak for it not being possessed...), but I don't have room for two.

That, and the whole Texas thing.

And the last piano that was moved in my truck came to a messy end.

An English Hutch? Mine's not nearly as interesting... it's from Owosso.
