Opening night went well, Cecily and I actually got EXIT APPLAUSE (when an actor exits and the scene isn't over, yet the audience decides to interrupt it with applause for the leaving actors)!  It's rare, and it rocks, and it's been about 4 years since it's happened to me.  So yay for that.

Unfortunately, last night's performance and today's matinee were called due to weather.  Our town got 9 inches of snow dumped on it, and the theatre didn't think that the Box Office would cover the royalties.  So yuk.  I did go to the cast party on Friday night and had a fabulous time...  theatre people are NUTS!  But woke up yesterday with a horrible cold plus a scratchy throat that has now settled in my chest.  So, all in all, it's worked out for the best, I guess.  No one wants a stuffy Gwendolyn.  And my voice has dropped an octave, which makes me sound a little like Oscar, actually. :)

They've added a show on Wednesday, which means Tuesday will be a line through (horribly boring, as actors just vomit out lines as fast as they can without doing any interpretation or any of the movements ).

I've already got a little cabin fever, and I'm sure I'll get dragged out to make a snowman at some point today...

Awwah, it's supposed to snow here, maybe, but be mostly freezing rain. I'm so jealous of you winter.

But on a bright now, I'm writing...

Well the fact that you're writing cheers me considerably... *bounces*

Woohoo! Congrats on being so wonderful :)

And snow is of the good. It's a reason to just slow down, enjoy the scenery and take some time for you and your family for hot chocolate and chicken soup :)

Take care!

It was good just to sit around for two whole days!

Thanks!

It's monday morning here, and I feel tons better. Still a little sore throat, but I'm sure that will go away soon.

Thanks for the hugs!

9 INCHES OF SNOW

I just can't imagine! I thought we were doing pretty good last week with our 1/2 inch! LOL

Sorry to hear you are feeling under the weather! Hope all is 100% again by Wed.

Enjoy the building of the snow person. I wish I was there to participate. Can't remember the last time I built a snowman!

Marmie =)
